I'm not very good at discovering new music. Every couple months I send a message to my sister and one to my friend asking for new music recommendations. They respond with a list of wonderful songs that I'm not sure how I've never discovered them before. Then I'm good for a couple months! But I discovered an artist on my own! Do you ever have those artists where one or three or four songs seem to run on repeat in your head for weeks on end?
Course that would have nothing to do with the continuous playing of those said songs over and over and over again until the people around you say "for the love of all that is good... play a different song!!"
Anyways, I picked up a cd today that I LOVE LOVE LOVE! I looked for it the last time I visited the city to see if any of the stores had it only to find out it wasn't out yet! Well, since then it's been released and I had to have it. It's lovestrong by Christina Perri. And it's ah-maze-ing!!! Ok, so my brother doesn't appreciate it. But what does he know. Her voice and music is so beautiful! Many of her lyrics are hauntingly beautiful. Ok.. enough gushing??
