Small Snapshots: Reflection

It's Tuesday! You know what that means... Small Snapshots! This week the photo prompt was reflection. I had a couple ideas of shots I wanted to try to get. So when it was SO nice outside Sunday evening I figured it was the perfect time to get out there and play with my camera!

 

While Jon ran into the store I tried to get my reflection in the rearview mirror and the driver side mirror. I'm sure the people in the parking lot though tI was a huge creeper snapping pictures of everyone walking by!

 



Our small town has a really well taken care of park and nature trail that is situated right along the river that runs through town. My husband Jon and I took a stroll down the trail to our favorite bench and watched the river. This is a pretty neat shot of the reflection of the houses against the smooth river.

 



Same idea but a little farther up the river. Sunset+reflection=beautiful view!

 

 


Jon wanted to participate this week too so he snapped this reflection of the bridge while on our walk. The river is pretty high right now as they released a bunch from the dam. On the far left you can see the "barge" they've been busy building this past week. Part of an initiative to build spawning grounds for the fish in the river.
