I LOVE taking pictures!! But far too often my camera sits on the shelf collecting dust! This is so very unfortunate! So I've decided to do something about it! I know there are many photography themed features on lots of other blogs but I always feel so inadequate with the high caliber of professional photographers that participate. I decided to make my own and I'd love if you joined in!
Each week I'll post a picture/pictures/collage from the past week's theme and announce the upcoming week's theme. There will be a link up opportunity so we can see what everyone else snapped pictures of! Sound like fun??
The guidelines are:
-Try taking a new picture/pictures for each theme. The goal is to use our cameras more! But the photo police won't be after you if you occasionally pull one from the archives.
-Try not to use repeats of the same picture/pictures week after week. Take something new!
-Keep the pictures family friendly... PG rated.
-Have fun with it! And check out others' photographs!
Alright! For the first week the first thing that came to mind was Blue. Interpret this however you like! Check back next Tuesday for a link-up and to check out what photos others have taken! The link-up will be available till Friday so if you can't take something before Tuesday no problem!
What an awesome idea! I'm definitely going to play along. Although given how insane things are going to be for me at work in the next couple of weeks, I might have to pull things out of the archives for a while... But once things calm down at work, I'm definitely going to work on taking new shots every week!
ReplyDeleteYay! I've looked for something like this to do online but haven't found anything I like! (I agree, Too many things like this include professionals and I find it intimidating!) I will be on the lookout for my "blue" picture!

ReplyDeleteI hear ya! I've done a lot of searching. Not that our pictures can't/won't be professional quality! But it's nice to have a place where less professional pictures can be posted and not be intimating! I'm excited to see what you come up with!
