It's time for Spring Fever Challenge Week 2 Review!

This Week's Questions:
- What have you done this past week to help you achieve your goals? I sorta failed this week. I only worked out twice. We went on an impromptu sort of a hike to some waterfalls. (pictures to be posted in the next couple days). I did some but not a lot of work on my course. I worked on a few projects. And I ran twice. But overall not a great week for me. This week should be a lot better!
- What did you do this past week to make you feel good about yourself? I forgot about this part of the challenge! I guess I could say deciding to go gluten-free. I'm going to write a post about that Monday.
- Are your SFC goals your ultimate goals or steps to your ultimate goals? Do you find it easier to set big goals or do you like making mini-goals? My SFC goals are more steps to ultimate goals. The working out, hiking, and c25K are to encourage healthy living and getting into shape. The course goal is to further my schooling and career. And the project goal is to encourage my creativity and hobbies.
- What are some of your ultimate goals, things on your bucket list? hmm my bucket list would be a bit to explain and I tried to add most of those to my 101 things in 1001 days list.
- Fun Question: If you could achieve only one more thing in your life, what would it be? to be happy and enjoy life
Wow, for a week that you feel like you failed, it sounds like you had a great week. 2 workouts, 2 runs, a hike, project work, and course work? Sounds super productive and awesome to me. :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read about your decision to go gluten free.
I believe being happy is the most important thing in life! Great answer!
ReplyDeleteDon't stress over not having a great week! This one coming up will be AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you did great, try not to set your standards too high or you'll always feel like you are failing! :)
ReplyDeleteYah last week was pretty crappy for me too! This is also to comment on your gluten-free post...
ReplyDeleteI have been sleeping sooooo well and I didn't realize it until you wrote that, because bad me I've eaten gluten Saturday/Sunday and I slept like crap... I also had to have gluten today (I was at my bosses and we had sandwiches for lunch) so I'll be interested to see if I sleep the same again.
I am signed up for two fitnessy kinds of challenge on womens' blogs. I like that it helps keep me accountable. If you try to remember that we're "checking" up on you or that you have to "report" to us, perhaps that will be the catalyst for change this week?
ReplyDeleteHowever, you did get up and move, so don't be hard on yourself!
Ellie too - I like the sound of a fitness challenge. I will investigate that one!
ReplyDeleteI agree it sounds like you've done a lot and not failed! I would have counted the hike. Sometimes its easier to substitute one activity with another. Doing something is better than sitting doing nothing!
You got it! Let's rock this week! ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Faith! Sometimes it's easier said than done eh?
ReplyDeletehaha thanks Kendra D. I just felt like I failed because I didn't rock the goals! :) But I'm not kicking myself about it or anything. I posted a blog about it now, so check it out and let me know what you think!
ReplyDeleteThanks Becks! I'm just not happy that I used excuses and didn't complete my goals as well as I know I can do! I'm not too down about it :)
ReplyDeleteHas your sleep improved? Interesting that it effects you that way too! I was wondering if it was just coincidence or if others had that change when they went gluten-free. Good to know! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ellie! That's a good thing to keep in mind. It helps that we're all in this challenge together!
ReplyDeleteThat is true! The point is to move and not be a bump on the log!
