This road trip to Vancouver will be a lot different! It will be the first actual "vacation" we've ever taken together. Plus we'll have a sweet stereo to play tunes for us the whole drive! So now I'm trying to come up with a kick ass playlist! I'm thinking I'll put some podcasts on the ipod for the down times but for the rest of the time I need some upbeat, energetic music. I was thinking maybe a classic rock playlist, a dance playlist, etc.
What do you guys listen to on road trips? I'll take any and all recommendations! Or do you prefer to play car games? What are some of your best memories from road trips?
Weird! I literally just sent an email to Madic telling him we need to make a kickass playlist for our road trip - I actually used those exact words.

Unfortunately I am terrible when it comes to music, I love listening to it of course, but couldn't tell you who half the artists are.
What kind of pod casts will you download?
I love car games, the silly alphabet game and such. When I take trips with my brothers we always play trivial pursuit on the iphone :)

ReplyDeleteI think that when "playlist" is mentioned the word "kickass" must precede it! Unless it's an exclamation like "that playlist was so kickass!" In which case, it'd be safe to have it follow "playlist"!
ReplyDeleteI am also really bad with music. In fact today in a store while my mom was trying on clothes I kept putting my Shazam app on so I knew what the songs were called that were playing on the speakers!
Jon really likes listening to the "Stuff you should know" and "Stuff they don't teach you in history class" podcasts. I forget what the company is called but they're on the itunes store.
guilty pleasure songs are the BEST for roadtrips! Nothin like a good sing along/dance party to get the trip started on the right path!
