Being On The Jury

For the past two years I've had the privilege of being on the jury for the Ninjamatics Canadian Weblog Awards. The CWAs are awards that recognize great Canadian blogs! They're not based on popularity and votes but rather a list of criteria that are judged by a panel of jurors.

I've loved being on the jury for a number of reasons. Through it I've discovered many new blogs! It's also really helped me in thinking about who I am as a blogger and how I blog. The process of judging based on a criteria really makes you look at design and content from an objective level. They've also helped me realize why I like the blogs I do! That said I have a few Canadian blogs I'm going to head over and nominate! Check out the website for the top blogs that won the awards this  year!
