Last year we were super excited about fall and we decorated/carved pumpkins before thanksgiving. By the time the end of the month came around our pumpkins were all shrived and ugly. This year I haven't bought any yet and am thinking perhaps any day now would be a good time to decorate some!
Here's a few ideas I have in mind thanks to pinterest:

What about you? Do you plan on (or already have) decorating pumpkins this year? What's your favorite method?
These are so cute! It's hard to pick a favorite, I love them all. :) I can't wait to see what you come up with. Believe it or not, I have never decorated a pumpkin. Ever. These pics really make me want to give it a try.
ReplyDeletebhahahaha, love the angry birds Pumpkins :D
ReplyDeletethey're some of my favorites too! :)
ReplyDeleteOooo! You should sometime! It's a really great way to get in the fall mood! I have a few ideas I think I might try! We'll see!
ReplyDeleteVery cool. I love that last one.
ReplyDeleteWhat cool ideas! I'll probably use a stencil this year: just bought a pumpkin and have been eying up a Smokey bear stencil for quite some time now. :D
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are the first three. I have a thing for dots, I love the black and orange designs and of course, Angry Birds. :)
ReplyDeleteI've carved two so far, one with my toddler class, and one with my preschool class. I let the preschoolers draw the face and I carved what they drew. It is one of my favorite pumpkins I've ever carved. I still have to do mine at home, I found a pattern to make a dog, so I am going to make our dog, Finn, in pumpkin form.
Ooo! Cool! That'd look neat!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen it done like that before! But such a neat idea!
ReplyDeleteI've been noticing myself gravitate towards dots a LOT more lately!! I love the look of them!
