Shop Love ~ Jello's Kitchen

This week's featured shop is Jello's from Jello's Kitchen. She makes and sells necklaces, bracelets, bookmarks, hair accessories, "fun stuff", and purse/bags. I have 3 of her creations in my jewelry box and I LOVE them! So definitely check out her shop!

I asked her a few questions and this is what she had to say:

Why did you decide to open a shop? etsy is just awesome for creative people. people like me that like to create and don't really have a brand or "star item". it's whatever comes when it comes. and i love it! it gives me all that freedom i need and extra cash that will, bit by bit, bring me closer to my dream. to be one day an independant and successful shop owner.

How did you come with your shop name? well that's a long story that can definitely be made short... last summer i was on a "somewhat" diet and was making Jello pretty much every night for desert. my husband came up with the name. everything else followed. the blog, than the shop.

Your favorite thing to make in your shop? right now? i'm giving my sewing machine a major case of hair ball and sewing overload! new items coming up! i'm excited! but lately it's been the hair bands for sure!

Any advice for people thinking of opening one? not really... it's all about trial and error. you can try to plan it as much as you can but you'll always learn new things... the hard way sometimes. also, don't try to go big before being small.

Anything else you'd like people to know? i'm clumsy as hell; don't give me my diner in fine china! just kidding... i would love to have new friends following my blog ; )

Like I said, I have three of these necklaces, all in different colors. Yet, can a girl ever have enough?
