Fortune Cookie Slips

Yesterday when I emptied my purse out to see what was all in it, I was reminded of how big my fortune cookie fortune slips (say that 10 times fast!) collection is getting. I can't remember when it started but some time years ago I started saving all my slips after every time I ate Chinese food. And it was a lot. I had quite a few more but I put them somewhere "safe" and now I'm not too sure where that is. But they'll turn up. In the meantime I have plenty still. I don't quite want to throw them all away yet.

So my question to you is Do you have any ideas of some creative way to use them? I took a few pictures of some of my favorites. I thought perhaps I could do something like that and make a collage on my cork board. Or perhaps some decoupage? But I'm open to suggestions!

I do  like having little reminders every time I look at them.

Like this one

Reminds me perhaps to smile at the grumpy cashier who's slamming my bread through. Or do a random act of kindness for someone.

Then there's this one...

That's always a nice feeling!

LOVE this one

Why thank-you fortune cookie! I can't hear that enough!

This one might be hard to read that small.

But it says "Don't lose focus on what you want."

Every now and then I get weird ones that make me go "What?!"

I don't really ride in boats very often but okay. Is there a timeline for this future?

But Jon's favorite one is this one, of course.

When I got that one he grins and says "I'm going to be a big help. And I'm zesty!"
